As a child, Jill Jones always enjoyed helping her aunt look through fabric books and creating color stories, so when it came time to pick a career there was no question that it would be in Interior Design. In 1986 Jill earned her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design at Florida State University's College of Fine Arts.
When asked to describe the biggest challenge she encountered in her chosen field, Jill recalled how she once worked with clients from Kuwait. All items had to be selected in two days and measurements had to be converted to the metric system. Once the merchandise was received, it had to be inspected and loaded on a container.
Jill describes herself as a good listener. "Hearing what a client wants, interpreting it and creating it are the most satisfying accomplishments of this job." Jill considers each client a unique challenge in itself and derives much satisfaction in sharing in the enthusiasm of a client upon completion of a project.
